I have not had a good day today. Originally I was going to make this a rant on how I "hate" kids... but I know I really don't hate kids, just certain behaviors that are being tolerated in my "home". I put home in quotes because I don't feel like I have any place here because my needs/wants aren't considered important. Of course I don't feel like I have a lot of room to stand considering I'm 27 and still living at my grandpa's/mom's house. But I have a big car payment that pretty much means I can't move out. I'll get to all that later in this post.

But on to the children thing. My brother and his wife have 4 children of various ages oldest 11, youngest almost 1(I think.. I'm not really good on how old they are.. because really I'm just not all that interested or involved in their lives..). For a good while I've had to deal with the brats... Now they aren't always horrible, but they all have a tendency to being whiny and cry at the drop of a hat in tantrum fashion. Why this bugs me is that it's not corrected but tolerated or pandered too. This is frustrating because...

All right the time has finally come for the seventh edition of the Kannagi Avatar Entries. I would have had this entry up sooner, but I was delayed by certain things.


It also doesn't help that episode 12 by itself didn't provide enough avatars to justify an entry by itself. Hence forth why I waited until I had the episode 13 avatars ready. Just that it took me awhile to get around to episode 13.



Mainly due to being sidetracked by other things. However the work is now complete and thus you can bask in the glow of Nagi, Shino, Nagi, Takako, Nagi, Tsugumi, Nagi, Zange, and oh did I mention Nagi? In any case here are the avatars.

Nagi is the lead female in the series Kannagi ~Crazy Shrine Maidens~. Nagi is a goddess who is using a "statue" carved from a sacred tree as her medium. Our true introduction to her comes when the statue that Jin (the lead male) carves breaks apart and out pops Nagi.

Through out thirteen episodes, I got to experience exactly what Nagi was like as a character. With that I can say that she grew to be one of my favorite characters of 2008. Actually she was pretty high up there from the start. This is for a variety of reasons.

First, let's get out in the open. Nagi is essentially a flawed character. In many ways, she's essentially childish. That's probably the most balanced way of putting it. Some of her actions in the series just go to show how childish she can be.

Now you may think that's meant to be a negative and in some ways it is since I'm admitting she's not perfect. However the honest truth of the matter is this. Sometimes I like the idea of a character who is capable of being flawed. Sure there is such a thing as being too...
